Grown from Seed is a deeply personal exploration of growth, both natural and emotional. Inspired by the artist’s experience of watching her daughter carefully tend to corn from seed, this piece mirrors the artist’s reflection on her own daughter’s journey of growing up. The vibrant colors and layered textures represent the nurturing process, not only of plants but of life itself, capturing the tender balance between care, patience, and time. The unique Waterprint technique gives the piece a fluidity that speaks to the constant evolution and transformation inherent in both nature and childhood.
